Prizes

Colleagues of the late Mr John Miles Harwin, former Lecturer in Surveying, established this prize to honour his memory and in particular to pay tribute to his qualities of humanity, conscientiousness and devotion to his profession. It was their wish that these same qualities be taken into account in awarding the prize.

Awarded to the candidate who passes with merit the final examination for the degree of Bachelor of Surveying and Spatial Sciences and who has been judged by the academic staff of the school to possess, or have the potential to possess, qualities of humanity, conscientiousness and devotion to the profession.
