Jane Christine Hogg Scholarship

This prize was founded in 1934 by Gustave Heuze Hogg, MD, CM, of Launceston, in commemoration of his sister, the late Jane Christine Hogg, and her services to education.

 

Eligibility

Awarded to a female candidate who obtains the highest scores in any two or more modern languages, i.e., English Literature (ENL315114), French (FRN315114), German (GRM315114), Italian (ITN315114), Japanese (JPN315114) and Chinese (CHN315114) at the TCE examinations. The recipient must also be enrolled in study with the College of Arts, Law and Education at University of Tasmania.

$1200 per annum, tenable for two years
