Rudolf Plehwe Prize

The late Dr. Rudolf Plehwe, a former student of the University of Tasmania, left a bequest in his will for the establishment of this prize. Dr Plehwe’s particular interest was in constitutional and administrative law. He was the most outstanding student of his era in the late 1950’s. He gained a combined total of seventeen High Distinctions from a possible twenty in his degrees of Arts/Law. After completing a doctorate in America he lectured in politics and public administration at LaTrobe University until his retirement in 1994.

 

Eligibility

Awarded to the student who demonstrates the greatest proficiency in unit LAW253 Foundations of Public Law and has obtained at least a pass with distinction.
