This prize was established by the staff of the Department of Botany in appreciation of the academic leadership and contribution made by Professor William Dalziel Jackson, a member of the staff of the University since 1952 and Professor of Botany since 1966.

Awarded to the student who has obtained the highest aggregate mark among third year Plant Science units (minimum of 4).
