Prizes

The prize was established by family, colleagues, friends and former students in honour of the late Dr Elaine J Browne, a member of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Tasmania from 1959 until 1992.

Awarded for outstanding proficiency in Chemistry 4 (Honours) by a student completing a project in Organic Chemistry, including natural products but excluding theoretical Organic Chemistry. The award to be based on the overall Honours assessment and will only be awarded if a candidate has achieved the grade of first class Honours.
