Judith Liauw Postgraduate Fellowship

While Judith Liauw lived and worked in the north-west of Tasmania she was at the forefront of modern community pharmacy in Australia and made an enduring contribution to pharmacy and the health system. Until just before her death in July 2010 she was both Branch President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia – Tasmanian Branch, and a National Councillor of the Guild. As a strong supporter of the UTAS School of Pharmacy she regularly hosted students and interns for their rural placements in her Ulverstone pharmacy.
