Rotary Club of Somerset Award in Rural Health

This award is generously provided by the Rotary Club of Somerset to a fourth year student at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School who demonstrates commitment to rural health and involvement in community engagement. This student must continue their studies at the Rural Clinical School in 2023.

Eligibility

This award is available to a fourth-year student who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School in 2022. Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to rural health and involvement in community engagement. This student must continue their studies at the Rural Clinical School in 2023.

Should students not progress to final year, applications received will be automatically withdrawn.

Once this scholarship is open, the application form will be emailed directly to eligible students by the Rural Clinical School.

The completed application form should be submitted to Professor Lizzi Shires, Director, Rural Clinical School and a copy sent to rcs.ce@utas.edu.au by the above closing date.
