Australian Journal of Pharmacy Prize

Awarded to the student with the highest aggregate mark in third year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. To be eligible for the award the student must have completed Year 3 of the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at their first attempt.

Australian Journal of Pharmacy Prize (Year 2)

Awarded to the student who demonstrates outstanding achievements in second year pharmacy practice. To be eligible for the award the student must have completed Year 2 pharmacy practice units at their first attempt.

Australian Medical Association (Tasmanian Branch) Prize

Awarded to a student who, at first attempt, passes all the units of the final year examinations of the course for the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and who obtains the highest aggregate mark over these examinations.

Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (Tasmanian Branch) 1st Year Prize

Awarded annually to the most outstanding student in Year 1 Nursing with the highest overall aggregate mark. To be eligible for the award the student must be enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Nursing degree course in the year the award is made.

Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (Tasmanian Branch) 2nd Year Prize

Awarded annually to the most outstanding student in Year 2 Nursing with the highest overall aggregate mark. To be eligible for the award the student must be enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Nursing degree course in the year the award is made.

Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (Tasmanian Branch) Prize

Awarded to the most outstanding graduand in the Bachelor of Nursing (Pre-registration).

B.J. Shirrefs Prize for Therapeutics

Awarded to the student with the highest aggregate mark in therapeutics in Year 3 and 4. To be eligible for the award, a student must have completed each unit of Year 3 and 4 of the Bachelor of Pharmacy at their first attempt.

Bryan Day Memorial Prize

Awarded to the student demonstrating excellence in preliminary clinical units of Laboratory Medicine. Aggregate GPA in CXA251/651, CXA231/631 & CXA 241/641 (TOTAL: 3 units). All Undergraduate (53G) and postgraduate (M7U) students with a minimum ¾ load are eligible for this prize.

C A and L H Greatrex Medical Prize

Awarded to the most proficient Tasmanian first year student of the course leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Diagnostic Services Pty Ltd, Excellence Award

Awarded to the student demonstrating overall excellence in the Bachelor of Laboratory Medicine (53G). Aggregate GPA of ALL units (TOTAL: 24 units) in years 1, 2 & 3. Undergraduate (53G) students with a minimum ¾ load and presenting a case studies in the unit CXA401 are eligible for this prize.

Diagnostic Services Pty Ltd, Gary Peace Memorial Award

Awarded to the student with the highest aggregate GPA across the 10 units in the Master of Laboratory Medicine (M7U). All postgraduate (M7U) students with a minimum ¾ load and presenting case studies in the unit CXA704 are eligible for this prize.

Dr Bill Jackson Memorial Award

Awarded annually to the graduating student in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course showing proficiency in rural general practice term in the clinical years of the course. The recipient is to be a member of RUSTICA.

Frank Gaha Prize

Frank W. Fay Prize in Surgery
