Prizes

This prize was founded by members of the legal profession in Tasmania and the Fellows of the Royal Society and certain friends of the late James Backhouse Walker in perpetuation of his memory in the University of Tasmania (of which he was sometime Vice Chancellor).

Awarded to the most proficient student graduating from the Faculty of Law who has shown the greatest proficiency throughout their course.

$500
