W.D. Parkinson Prize

The W.D. Parkinson Prize was established by Dr Wilfred Dudley Parkinson, Reader in Geophysics in the Department of Geology, at the time of his retirement in 1984.

 

Eligibility

Awarded to the student who shows the greatest proficiency in Geophysics/Exploration Geophysics units or in such units as may replace them in the final undergraduate year, and who has not previously attempted an examination in these units and has obtained at least a pass with credit in all such units.
