Prizes

The Dr Bill Jackson Memorial Award was established in 1996 and is generously supported by the Rural Doctors Association of Tasmania. Dr Bill Jackson was a champion of general practice everywhere, however he was particularly interested in rural general practice.

Awarded annually to the graduating student in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course showing proficiency in rural general practice term in the clinical years of the course. The recipient is to be a member of RUSTICA.
