Arthur Augustas Stephens Memorial Prize

The prize was established by friends of the late Arthur Augustus Stephens, B.A., London, a member of the Senate of the University of Tasmania from its foundation and who, for over 30 years, devoted his life to scholastic work in Hobart, especially at Queen’s College, of which he was founder and principal, and at the Hutchins School, of which he was Vice-Master.

 

Eligibility

Awarded to the candidate with the highest scores in Physics (PHY415115) and Chemistry (CHM415115) at the TCE examinations. In the event of a tie, awarded to the candidate with the highest ATAR. The recipient must also be enrolled in study with the University of Tasmania.
