The Stewart Williams Memorial Prize in third-year Geography and Environment was established by staff in the School of Geography, Planning, and Spatial Sciences in memory of their colleague and friend Dr Stewart Williams (1964-2019). Stewart completed undergraduate, honours and doctoral degrees at the University of Tasmania, going on to be appointed a Senior Lecturer.
