Tasmanian Emergency Medicine Prize

The Tasmanian Emergency Medicine Prize is generously donated by the Royal Hobart Hospital Fellows of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.

The Tasmanian Emergency Medicine Prize was established to foster undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of Emergency Medicine and to raise awareness of the specialty among medical students and recent graduates.

 

Eligibility

Awarded to a student who, at first attempt, passes all the units of the final year examinations of the course for the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and achieves the highest mark in a special Emergency Medicine Multiple Choice Examination. The top 3 performing applicants will be invited to undertake a viva vocé.
