William Robert Giblin Scholarship

This prize was founded in the 1920s in memory of the distinguished public services of the late William Robert Giblin, sometime Attorney-General and Premier, and subsequently one of the Justices of the Supreme Court of Tasmania.

 

Eligibility

Awarded for the highest scores in the subjects of English Literature (ENL315114), either Australia in Asia and the Pacific (AAP315116) or Modern History (HSM315115/HSM315117) and not more than one of the subjects of Ancient Civilisations (ANC315115), Economics (ECN315116) and Geography (GGY315115). No candidate shall be permitted to hold the Sir Philip Fysh Scholarship together with this scholarship. The recipient must be enrolled in study with the University of Tasmania.

$1000 per annum for up to three years
